Hey guys. I'm tasked with selling off my FIL's guns, but I have a pistol that has me scratching my head for value. It's an H&R model 949 .22 that is NIB. A good friend wants to buy it, and as it isn't mine, I need a value that's fair to both the FIL and my buddy. I figured this is the place to ask!
Any/all opinions are definitely appreciated.

The drag lines on the cylinder would indicate that it is not New In Box....

$135-$150 max.....adding an extra $25 for shipping takes the charm out of a cheap gun though............

Those arent drag lines, they are scallops machined into they Cyl....I can see how they would look like drag lines in the pic though. The gun is flawless.

Had you not said anything I would have thought they were drag lines....when you put it in the EE, you should include that info......

Good luck with the sale...it will probably sell fairly quickly.

at the very least it has one of those super cool tactical mall ninja navy seal SOCOM black op boxes that will pull the trigger when shaken
that should get you an extra couple of bucks

Even so I think this is a realistic price. They are not a very desirable gun. You would be more than lucky to find anyone who would care if it was NIB condition.
