Need help with this trigger in my 700 VS

I picked up a older Varmint Special with this trigger. trigger is set to 12oz.who made it?

I agree, a Jewell trigger. I have one on my Remington 40X, they are excellent.

Do NOT blank/pierce a primer or separate a case head w/ a Jewell trigger group installed.

When/If the above happens,the mid lever lower tip breaks rendering said trigger group USELESS.

I have 2 Jewell triggers, one on a 40X Rimfire, the other on a custom HB 6mm. They are superb, IMHO. Dave.

Stating facts-
And in this day & age you are SOL-#### out of Luck, if you break a Jewell trigger group.
(unless you have spares to fix the issue yourself)

Yep, I stocked up on plenty of spare parts for my Jewells. Touch wood. I have never had an issue with any of mine since my first in about 2008.
