Hi all, I need help putting a value on a shotgun.
I've looked it up on the net but the problem is this gunmaker has made shotguns that vary greatly in price, from $500 to a few thousand.

This side-by-side boxlock 12 gauge with extractors is made by Armitalia di Lucchini, Ponte Zanano "Brescia". The barrels are Chrom-Nitro Boehler Steel, 27 3/4" with full and modified chokes. Receiver screws show some screwdriver marks. Bores are bright and I would rate the guns overall condition as very good. It is missing both sling attachments. It handles nicely and feels like a quality gun but I`m not sure about it being worth as much as I've seen quoted on the net.

Thanks for any help.

Well I could be way of base but to me for this gun I would think in the range of $600.00-$700.00 and that may take awhile (I think).

Ive been scratching my head about this one, too. It looks nicely made but I think the market will lump it in with some of lesser quality. Anything less than $500 is too little but I think there is just no way for $800. My guess is Brian is right. An ask of $600-700 and be prepared to wait.

I have been checking a bunch of reference books on this one. Armitalia di Lucchini Ponte Zonano V.T. made/makes (unsure if they are in operation -- no website) some very expensive high quality guns but like other Italian gun makers did make guns to a price for various importers mostly from the US including Richland Arms of Michigan. From the pictures, this gun having extractors and assuming from the marks on the action that it once had case coloring which has been removed is in all likelihood the latter and be worth in the $600 to $700.00 range as stated above -- possibly up to $775 to someone that it fits well.
