Hey guys I just got a usgi wood stock for my norc and the fit is great and the tilt test is a pass. There is how ever a small and simple problem, the pin that holds the spring guide in place is able to move freely and it actually let's the guide rod slide back into the mag well. It's only happens when inserting a mag but obviously a big problem haha. I can see I just need to fill a small spot on the "wall" of the stock and it will stop the pin from protruding out of the reciever and won't affect the action of the rifle at all. Here's where I need your guys help, I know nothing of wood working haha I've heard of wood filler and epoxy but what would be best? Preferably I'd like to sand it down if I apply too much or something. Also do I need to sand the finish off my stock before applying the filler? It's right in a 90 degree corner so how would I sand it? Please help me haha thanks in advance guys
