as part of my IDPA and overall pistol practice, i'd like to incorporate an IWB holster. i've got a Glock 22 and a Ruger GP100 (4.2") to accomodate. can you recommend good stable secure IWB holsters for this? i MIGHT later on add a 1911-size gun (most likely Commander length).

i'm open to kydex / plastic and leather, but not nylon (unless it has a shell to keep shape). doesn't have to be pretty since it's gonna be hidden anyways. plain leather? kydex? all right-hand.

either-or. for my externals, i have dedicated ones and i'm OK with that.

Well, I'd be pretty hesitant to run one IWB that would fit both of those guns, myself...

At any rate here is where I would spend money: Kramer, Alessi, Milt Sparks, Comp-Tac. I had a Kramer IWB a LONG time ago (or so it feels now anyway - it was so long ago that I also owned a Galco Miami Classic and nobody laughed at me) and they can really build a great holster. I would love to own one again just because I had one once before. But they are a holster maker that is respected enough by enough serious handgunners that it would be worth getting one even if I hadn't got a nostalgia thing on for them.

Comp-Tac will make and ship what you want quickly. The MTAC and CTAC are both excellent holsters, IMO.

UBG is a small company that will also make and ship what you want relatively quickly.

Sidearmor makes an excellent IWB to fit your Glock, though not your Ruger.

Brownells has the Milt Sparks SSII to fit your Glock, in stock and ready to ship. This too is an excellent holster.

There are many other excellent options - such as Raven, C. Rusty Sherrick, Kramer, TT Gunleather, and Milt Sparks - that you might have to wait much longer to receive.

The best leather holsters as far as I am concerned are from Bob Mernickle of Mernickle Holsters he used to be a member @ our Mission BC club but the amount of US business dictated that he move to the States.

He will also combine different holsters or make modifications to come up with exactly what you want.

Every leather holster I own was made by Bob...

I've got a G29 in an Mtac minotaur. Very comfortable.
