I'm looking for info from those who have shot the Gen 3 AND Gen4 Glock 22.
As many of you may know, I have a ton of experience with shooting and pistols but I haven't been able to compare the recoil impulse and sight recovery time between the two generations.
I've heard from experienced shooters that the recoil is different and the Gen 4 is a bit quicker to get back on target with a slightly softer recoil impulse and quicker recovery time. I also heard from an experienced police trainer that the Gen 3 recoil impulse does not feel as sharp as the Gen 4. But, then I heard from another police trainer that the Gen 4 is softer than the 3! Ugh!
I know many of you have shot the Gen 3 and 4 G17 (and so have I). I'm specifically interested in how it feels in .40 S&W.
Any info from both experienced shooters and those who may not have a ton of experience would be good to hear.
(I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to sell my new, and very pretty Gen 3 and get a Gen 4).
