Well this gave me the info I needed, Thanks guys. Wrote my letter and sent it today along with a copy to our shooting club ( as I was asked by them) so hopefully it will make some difference but I have a feeling it won't.
There was another encounter with a coyote about five minutes drive from my home over the weekend and these stupid policy makers won't do anything until it's to late and someone is hurt or worse (a child is killed), here where I live a large number of people have the forest practically in their back yard which makes it very easy for one of these dogs to try and make a meal of a pet or a or small child not being watched for a minute, who will the policy makers blame then I wonder.
