I was given the shotgun because it had the same problem as you. Paid the guy his asking price of 50.00. He said is wouldn't work, I felt obliged to take it off his hands... The friction rings were backwards on it, and it was oiled pretty heavy. These guns are to be run dry in the recoil spring area. I took it to the range, and after trying a couple of configurations with the rings, I figured it our and she runs flawlessly now. I'm sure that's all your problem is.
