Need info on S+W 586

Just wondering if anybody can give me a few tips. What are the spare parts that I should have to keep this gun running forever? What are the weak parts that I should have spares for, to keep it running forever?

If it were me I wouldn't worry about having any spare parts at all--they're tough revolvers. I've got about 12,000 rounds through my 24-year-old 686 and I've never had a part fail. If I had to pick one I'd say maybe a mainspring--if you do want to tinker make sure you learn the right way to take it apart and put back together--it's easy to bugger it up otherwise.
