Need Lead? NS group buy opportunity

I have a line on 1000# of what I believe to be boat ballast. Buddy wants $1 a pound but said he'd do better on bulk. I thought I'd offer anyone local (Nova Scotia) to jump on the deal with me. I'd be in for 250 pounds for now.

This is local only for obvious reasons. Sorry if this belongs in the EE, I thought it'd be better suited here.

Just remember ballasts could almost be any type of lead. If you have the oppertunity take it to a junkyard and have a chunk analysed.
