Need loads for .500 SW mag. (350,440,700 grain)

Hey guys,

need some help here, my reloading book is old i guess, and has no section for .500SW.I have looked online and have some info, but confirmed info from here would be better i think. Powders i have on hand are H110, BLC2, IMR 4227. The brass i have is for Large Rifle.

I will need OAL, a safe range of charge, and comments on them if you have some. The gun is a SW 500, with a 6.5 inch BBL.

I load the 300grFTX using the 350gr data for H&R rifle

that is great thank you, i could not find anything for the 350 for an OAL.

I too have a .500 S&W in a Handi. House reno and new addition to the family have kept me from the range.

I bought some plain base Lee molds and we'll see how they go. I bought this with reduced load cast plinking in mind.

I always set my own OAL based on where that particular rifle's throat is. With a revolver however you are limited to cyl length. Are you shooting a handi or a revolver?
