I've got it down to my two favourites. But I just need a few more opinions. I was just wondering if it's worth the extra $140 for the SP-01. I'm guessing it is, but what are the main differences/customization options, etc, between these two here.

CZ75BD D/A, .9mm, 120mm barrel, black finish, 10 shots,
fixed sights, c/w two magazines & case,
New *C$629.00

CZ75 SP-01, .9mm, 120mm barrel, black poly finish, 10 shots,
SA/DA, fixed tritium sights, MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail,
c/w two magazines & case, New *C$769.00

Thanks.

Personaly i would go with the 75b, without to the decocker(i like cocked and locked). Unless the decocker model also has a safty? I also don't like rails(catch on things.) But the sp-01 you state has tritium sights.. thats worth a bit(if you consider the cost of upgrading the 75).

just my thoughts.

Get the sp-01... it has better balance, night sites, and a higher f**ck off factor!
By the way, I have both.. (an 85 Combat, my first gun, and the newer and, in
my opinion, superior -01!

If I ever buy a CZ (probably in the fall) it will definitely be a SP-01. Very ###y gun.

Havn't had a chance to shoot an SP-01 yet, but everyone I talk to that has one enjoys it thoroughly.

I have been able to shoot the CZ 75B though, and find it's an excellent pistol, enough so that I intend on buying one someday. Soon hopefully. I'd rather take the CZ-75B if for nothing else, other than looks. The SP-01's looks turn me off a bit.

SP-01 is better and I've shot both the 75 pre B model and the 75B. In the end it's your personal choice really as you're the one who's putting down the cash for it. :D

Husky, I have a shatin nickel 75B which I think it is a great looking gun but the SP-01 look even much much better. By the way, How many coffee you can buy with that $140? If not much, go for the SP-01. Just my 2 cents.

Husky,

Both are nice choices and it really dosn't matter which model you pick because as soon as you start shooting your first CZ your mind is moving toward buying your second!

I would lean toward getting the SP-01 in .40 S&W, imho.

My first ever CZ was / is the SP-01. For me, it handles / shoots / feels better than my Beretta 92FS. Handle the different CZ models if you can. The SP-01 is pretty hefty, very little recoil.

My first pistol purchase was the 85B combat and I must have picked 100 different items before deciding on the CZ. The ambi controls made all the difference for me, being a lefty.

Also, got a chance to handle the new SP-01. Very sweet little rig. If I had the cash...my 85 B would have a new best pal.
