Need opinions - Marlin Model 90 over under value

I have this gun and have no idea what its value is so maybe someone on here might be able to help. I know absolutely nothing about over under guns. A quick search tells me that this is a pre 60's gun and apparently because it does not have a letter at the start of the SN it was made between 1937 and 1941.

It has two cracks in the front stock as shown below and there is some pitting.

Well, not to burst your bubble, but I bought the exact same gun off the EE last year, only with no cracks and no pitting, and I paid $280.00 shipping included. If you got $300.00 with the cracks and pitting count yoursel lucky.
