I have a Chiappa Double Badger 22LR & 20 gauge combo which I'm using for bird hunting in the fall.
My eye sight ain't what it used to be and the base sites are crap and am looking for something I can mount on the dovetail on the rifle.
The rifle isn't very large so there isn't a #### ton of room to put up a large scope. A good red-dot might work and I tried a Bushnell TRS25 I had lying around with mixed results, the dot still didn't help me see the bird and ran out of batteries the second time out.
So I'm thinking some kind of fixed power scope but no amount of googling has helped me find something useful. Any ideas or recommendations would be appreciated.
