Gunz people!
Does any one know where can I get a sear bar for Stoeger 22lr semiauto Luger pistol?
I tried Stoeger Canada, but they say no parts are available.
This Gun was manufactured in New Jersey in around 1983 or so. If some one has any clue where I can get this part I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

You may have to try Stateside as well. Numrich advertises that they have parts for different firearms, but I have found they are usually backordered with no known shipping date, but you can give them a try.

This is why you don't buy a Stoeger, Franchi, Uberti or Benneli
Parts dry up in minutes..

I have a Franchi O/U that i cannot find a forend for,I've been looking for 2 years now :(

"...I have found they are usually backordered with no known shipping date..." Depends on what you're looking for. Gunparts is a surplus parts wholesaler, not a manufacturer. They get parts for obscure firearms when they can. Just like any surplus dealer. If the parts aren't being made or another parts company buy the all the remaining parts, they can't get them if the parts don't exist. Any more than any other parts supply place. Gunparts is just one place to try for parts. If they don't have it, it means they can't get it. Mind you, they may have one or two parts for a particular firearm that they don't put on their web site. It's always worth a phone call. 866-686-7424

why not just call stoeger there just in Whitby

I have a machinist buddy that has a Stoeger s/a .22lr. I told him of your sad tale and he told me that he would take his apart and reproduce the part if his is the same and you're interested. He's made obscure firing pins and reproduced old shotgun parts for me before. They've always been of the best materials, properly heat-treated and for a fair price. P.M. me if you're still stuck and I 'll hook you up.I hate to see any HG delegated to paper-weight status.
