Need some advice for forward scope mount for Ruger scout rifle

Hi All

I have a Ruger Scout rifle and have recently purchased a Vortex Crossfire scope. I have the scope mounts for a more traditional setup however being cross eyed dominant it's been suggest a forward mount on the rail would work better for me. Looking for advice on what time of mounts would be best and where I could get them, mail order in Canada ideally. Thanks in advance.

There is a thread here on CGN that will probably answer your questions. Lots of knowledgeable people with good info on all aspects of your Scout Rifle. I just mounted the same scope on a Scout Rifle for a friend. I used Leupold QR low mounts. But check it out. Lots of ideas there.
