Hello and happy 2018.

I've been looking around for some clips for my Mauser K98k rifle. Seems that are out of stock everywhere I go or check online.

Any idea where I can get a couple of good quality stripper clips? Any help will be appreciated :)

Regards,

I found the chargers for the Swedish Mausers to be excellent. They are sturdier than the American ones for the Springfield and M14. They work well in my two 1903's and 1950 FN Mauser. I haven't tried them in an 8 mm. Mauser but it is worth a try. Trade-ex had them very reasonably and if your rifle isn't a collector gem, it could be worthwhile to open the slot by a whisker if it's required.

A couple of years ago I bought a couple thousand 8mm Mauser rds all on stripper clips... I tried giving the stripper clips away here on EE free and no takers...finally someone asked and received approx 100 stripper clips for free and now here a few years later people are willing to pay for them...go figure

They wont send them international. I tried. Halifax army navy has them for 2$ a piece still just need to email or call.

Hello all, just wondering if anyone here ended up finding a source for decent quality clips recently? I'm having no luck finding any, I've looked around online and at several guns shows but everyone seems to be out

Oh for G#%s sake this is pathetic, PM me and I will send you a pile for cost of postage!!!

The swede clips are nice indeed, but way bigger than the 8mm ones. I think when the model 98 mauser came out they cheaped out on the stripper clips.... they are flimsier. But since they were meant to be disposable, I guess that's ok.
