Need Some Advice Please

Hello,
I am hoping that someone here can help me out with this.
My father was an avid gun collector for years and unfortunately passed away last Sunday after a long battle.

So i am left trying to sell some of his stuff for my mother, as its really the only money she will be getting as there isnt anything else left of an estate. I am trying to get her the best buck i can for things, so am wondering if i could get a rough idea what a person would ask for the following rifles. I appreciate any and all advice.
I have included what information i could see on the actual rifles along with any notes i found written by my father.
I have lots of close up pictures if anyone wants to see them better.

Round barrel, My father marked it down as a Business Rifle. Deluxe wood, Custom Tang Site and Globe Front Site. Barrel is 28 1/2" - Tapered round

Those are some beautiful guns. Wish I could help you with a price, but they are beyond my realm of knowledge or even guessing.
 
Very sorry to hear of your father's passing.
The two Sharps are very nice items. The Kodiak I am not 100% sure on though.
Good photographs, an advert in the exchange would be your best...start with 2500 (business rifle) and 2700 starting prices. You can go from there and see what kind of interest you get
BTW...the one rifle has an Octagon barrel (8 sided) not hexagonal (6 sided).

Thank you both for your kind replies. It has been rough dealing with my fathers passing and hard to go through his guns and things but my mother needs to get rid of things and help cover her bills.
The two sharps are quite nice guns, they were my fathers pride and joy. he had at one time a paper cartridge version also, but seems to have traded/sold it off.

I appreciate the pricing to start with. Im trying to help my mother get as much as she can for these, so didnt want to ask a stupid price and didnt want to sell them too low.

Hahaha see for some reason i looked at the barrel and thought hex, i never even counted the sides. LOL

Hello JP. Thank you for those Links. Nice to know what the Kodiak is new. I looked on the sharps page, saw the "business Rifle" at the very top picture but couldnt find it bellow to see what it went for new. Maybe i missed something.

The first Sharps shown in the pics was made by IAB MACHINO it should be stamped on the barrel somewhere.It is of Italian make and was marketed buy Sile distributors etc.If you look it over closely you will see the action differs from the Pedersoli and it is really not a true copy of a Sharps rifle and it is not a business rifle either.These guns were basically the lower end of the Sharps rifles and the quality was not there.Also if you work the action you will find it has a breechblock type safety that is not on the original Sharps.
The Pedersoli is of better quality than the first Sharps but the prices given here for both these rifles is way out of line.The prices would be in line if the guns were made buy C Sharps or by Shiloh and were mint or new in the box or had fancy wood etc..I say this as I saw your ad on the EE and your asking for $2500 for the first and 2700 for the Pedersoli and I hate to see you waste your time trying to get that kind of money in your situation.Sorry it isn t better news.

Thank you for answering those questions. I really did not have any idea on these what they are worth, or who made them other then what i could see stamped. I will have a better look at them tomorow and look for those stamps that have been meantioned.
