i have an action from a bsa 7mm mag was going to use the action to make a 270 wb the stock has went missing and the barrel so what i want to now is when i purchase a new stock or a used one what am i looking for and i will be looking for a barrel as well have my own reamers well they are a friends which is better the 270 wb or a 300wm

If it is a CF2, Numrich Arms (w ww.e-gunparts.com) had stocks at one time. You are likely going to have to go with a custom barrel.
.300 WinMag ammunition is certainly a lot more common, and less expensive than .270 Weatherby Mag, assuming that is what you mean by 270 wb.

I'm not sure if you could really pick one as being "better" than the other, but the 300 WM will have far more bullet choices available for both factory ammo users and handloaders. A 270 Weatherby would make a nice flat shooting deer / sheep gun though. Personally I think the 300 would be a lot more versatile.

That's the way I'd go but then I already load/shoot the .300 Win Mag.
