Need some advice

If the goal is to practice for waterfowl, than use your waterfowl gun, just make sure you find a load that will cycle and use it. Sporting clays is expensive enough you may as well run ammo that works even if it is a little more expensive.

Is your O/U a field or sporting model? There isn't a big performance difference between a field semi and a field O/U.
