Need some Bullets

Accuracy Plus in Peterborough Ontario had a box of 110gr Speer .308 on their discount table recently. Don't recall if they were this part # or not. I think there were a couple missing and it was $10.

Speer is getting pretty thin around these parts.

I have heard the reason is b/c the factory can't keep up with the demand for military boolits so they have stopped production on civi boolits until further notice.

Hearsay of course,

Cheers!

Where you are in Southern Ontario matters. Hunting with a .30 cal isn't legal everywhere. Certainly not illegal in all of Southern Ontario though. Mostly in Southwestern Ontario and around TO.
The Speer product number 1835(aka Varminter HP) is just a new name for a 110 grain HP 'Plinker'. You might find 'em under that name.
Before the M1 Carbine was declared evil and became illegal to hunt with, I used nothing but Speer 110 grain HP's. They'll blow a hole the size of a grapefruit in a ground hog at high end .30 Carbine velocities(1900ish fps). Never used 'em in any other cartridge myself. They won't stabilize well in larger cartridges. Rifling is too slow.
