Need some engraving "chased"

The best craftsmen and women don't need to advertise. Forty years ago, I'd have sent you to Heide or Klaus Hiptmayer in East,am, Quebec. Google says Klaus has passed away, and I have no idea whether Heide is still active or who their apprentices are. But there is a business by that name. Good luck.

I knew a couple, had quite of bit work done by a fellow that has passed on ,He was Trained at Burno/CZ.
And there was a fellow in Calgary that did a couple of new colts for the Cal. gun show, I looked for a card and can't find it ,
He may be in my files as I bought one of the colts, 30 yrs ago?
I think his name was Gault ?? jeweller
I meant a young Lady in west central Sask. at a show and she was doing engraving ,but I don't have a name anymore.
I have done wood, but never steel, and too old to start.

Unfortunately you’re correct. They were both lovely and so talented in their crafts. I first met them in Quebec at a sporting clays event at Roue de la Roy. I watched him change the cast on the stock of a very expensive over under with a chisel and in very short order. It was very evident when the happy customer fired two rounds at the patterning board!! Heidi was engraving the side plates on a fine double gun, just amazing. A real loss for the shooting community

Hi there,
Metal...steel actually. Would like the script and logo on my mauser c96 chased a little deeper...
You want the stamped markings deepened by engraving? I suppose an engraver could touch up stamped impressions.
