The following guns were handed down by my father and I am curios the value of them for insurance as well as learning more about their history.
1862 Enfield with bayonet,
Winchester 1894 in 32-40,
A rimfire 32 "J Stevens A&T CO, Chicopee Mass USA Patent April 1794"
and a 22 handgun "IJ Double Action Model 1900"

I am not internet savy but I do have pics i could email for a better idea their quality and condition. Thanks in advance!

Is the Enfield a breech loader or muzzle loader? The Pattern 1853 muzzleloader was modified into the Snider breech loader during the 1870's and is fairly common in that configuration. Has the stock been cut down from original full length military configuration? (Wood almost all the way to the muzzle)Prices for original Snider conversions seem to run around $650 in good condition maybe $800 with original bayonet. The muzzle loading version may be worth somewhat more depending on condition.
The 1894 depending on configuration and condition will bring anywhere from $300(poor condition, parts gun) to $1500(original factory condition with little wear). More than that if it has special order features.
The Stevens single shots in 25 or 32 rimfire run around $150 in average condition as ammo is tough to find.
Not sure about the Iver Johnson handgun.

It is a breech loader and the stock runs to where the bayonet sits I have the bayonet and original sheeth however the leather has dried up and shrunk so it is maybe 2" shorter than it once was and doesn't cover the bayonet fully. Mechanically it runs smooth all the parts work on the action.

The 1894 is in decent shape but was clearly used well. The action and barrel are awesome though it was well taken care of... and no Bubba marks.

And it is still possible to find 32 rimfire? I thought that would be impossible. Any suggestions where to look? My dad is coming up this fall and it would be awesome if he got to shoot this gun since he hasn't in 50yrs his early 20's... even a handfull of rounds would be awesome! Thanks for the info

Not common and very expensive if you can find them BUT you can reload for them. Been a lot of recent threads on the subject and some detailed ones a few years back as well as on some other forums. There is a recent one right in this forum where the fellow is experimenting simply with tubing and some .27 cal ramsets (note these are normally HOT, often too hot, so read up on this very carefully if ya choose to forge ahead on this path). I've been reloading these for a few years, a little time consuming but fun.

CGN member Jethunter even sells the heeled bullets; I need to order some more (been chewing through my .32 cal round balls).

It seems like the only way to shoot 32 rimfire lately is to get the reloadable cartridges that use a .22 blank as a primer, or drill oit some .32 short colt brass to accept a .27 blank
