Need some final rifle advice before purchase

Ok ive narrowed it down to the following..

Famae SAF
PE90 Black Special
M96
VZ 58

I might take out the SAF after the feedback on parts...the M96 looks good...but I wonder about price to value..the VZ 58 is a pig..but cheap and could be a nice thing to build up..and after looking at 50000 deckard pics..Ive been thinking bout it abit...The Pe90...on quality..but the price is up there...

was wondering though can you still get the CQB short barreled swiss rifles? if so from where? how much? just restricted right? not prohibs? is wolverine the best place to shop for PEs? anywhere else? any comments on any of these choices would be great...

left AR15 off the list for a variety of reasons...same with the 180B.
 
CQB is just restricted an is available through TSE the shooting edge. Check with them but I think there is a waiting list due to only a few being imported at a time.I have the CQB,Carbine, Classic Green, and the Green sniper and am very impressed with all of them

IMO, if I could get the same gun (for that price) I wouldn't be going for the restricted version... the classic green/black are non-restricted, but the CQB's are pretty sweet looking. Depends on what you're gonna use it for I guess.

Everyone aspires to the Swiss Arms; it's just a question of how fast the pocket book will let you get there.
 
I went through several (including SL8) to end up at the PE90 (Black Special). I should have just started there, it would have saved money.
 
Ok called PD... So it seems that I have a choice between Carbine, CQB, And the big Green non restricted...

Does anybody have any decent pics of carbine and CQB? I did a search and it gave me info on rugers??? er..dunno bout the search today..thanks for any help..

ok so its on the non civilian 552 version with a rail and the cqb we get has sights? Whats the length of pull on the stock on the carbine vs the cqb? In the pic it looks alittle different.
 
If I had the money, I'd get the non-restricted classic green PE90, pop an EOTech on there, a bayo for sticking pigs, a bipod for stability (I'm shacky when I drink coffee). If I really had cash to burn, I'd also pop a B&T rail on the forend and then a vert. grip, lights and green laser.

I do however own a VZ58, and no regrets with the thing, other then the finish showed some wear on the bolt.
But I got it for 375$, so no real complaints.

yeah I really dont know which one to get...I think either way Im gonna have to grab a VZ as well... but on the PEs.. The CQB looks so sweet...and so does the full size..

green lazer? lol I like it..
 
VZ as well - good call. I'd rather have a stock PE90 and a VZ (or CZ) than a PE90 and accessories. All of the above, of course is best...
 
Hit the range and Try them all!! after you do you will know the PE90 is the one you realy want!!:D :p Sory I mean you will know which one is right for you, they are all good rifles its going to come down to the application and how it feels in your hands. If ya cant try them at the range at least try them for fit and balance at a gun shop.

Brian I'd like to know what you do for a living? thats quite an investment you have there. I'd like to be able to afford just one.
