Need some help building an AR

So I've got a stripped lower receiver coming in from wolverine supplies. The eagle arms one. I have also got an upper coming in soon.

I'm looking in buying an optic for it as well as the parts kit and stock.

First things first, the stock and lower parts kit. I see that questar has sold out of their RRA parts kit and so has wolverine. Anyone know of a canadian dealer that has parts kits for sale? As for the buttstock, I want a collapsable one and would like to not spend more than 150 or so. Since this is my first AR, I don't really know what to look for. Is there any recommendations out there for a good collapsable stock?

As for optics, I'm interested in the millet DMS or an eotech. Does anyone have experience with the millet DMS? As for eotechs, I have only seen 511, 512, 551 and 552 in the market. Are there other ones like the 556 and 557s in the market?

Also, are there any bits or pieces I have made in building my AR?

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

As for a stock, just get the Questar $90 rig. It is a complete setup. Don't buy into this Magpul CTR hype, don't pay $150 (some people ask $250 LOL) just for the stock.
 
rivetc78, thanks for the advice. So there isn't any major differences between the questar stock and any other stock out there thats sub 150?

Also, will I need a stock wrench or any other tools for the job?

The Questar collapsible stocks are okay. I bought one and the wrench they sell and the wrench knotches don't fit well at all on the castle nut included with that stock. I also thought the finishing of the plastic wasn't as nice as my RRA stock but a very usable stock and decent for the price. I'd buy another.
 
Some stocks vary in length.
The Questar stock is a complete kit.
Some of these others you will have to piece together (buffer & tube) and it will cost alot more than $150. Eg. Armseast sells a CTR MOE stock kit (comes with buffer and tube) for $228. It is a good quality product but it is not something you need when put together your first rifle.

will the quality of the plastic be similar to a tapco 10/22 stock? I have one of those and I find that above anything, it feels really cheap. Will it have the same look and feel as the one from questar?
 
I suggest you buy the stock you like (if you can afford to).

When you decide to take a step up, you'll be putting up the $$ for the good stock and you'll be left with an el cheapo plastic thing.

that's sorta the problem...havn't really handled/seen them to be able to see which one I like...
