Just removed the carry handle on my Stag M4 in favour of an Aimpoint PRO. Now looking for rear BUIS - something available and not wanting to wait forever or never to get it. Looking at ARMS 40 or 40-L. Also wondering if the Magpul is decent enough (the plastic construction is a concern...)

Can anyone provide any advice on choosing the right BUIS?

Troy...Super solid, plus you can select which sight picture you prefer (HK vs AR). Cost wise....maybe the Magpul

I was not happy with the plastic magpul, I am sure it's probably fine as a BUIS - I just didn't like it. I also have an ARMS 40L and the Troy and of the two I prefer the ARMS40L - not sure why, I just like it better.

Midwest Industries are pretty solid too. I got mine from Wolverine. If I had to buy again, I'd get Troy Ind versions, just 'cause they're Troys. :)

Purchasing new Id be going with Troys, but like mentioned above the MI sights are very solid and can be found used in the $100 range. Ive been more than happy with them on my XCR's which of course is a factory part. I agree that Magpuls for the money work as intended... "back up sights" but the only rifle I still have those on is a .22.

It is money for the fixed front sight post.
