Winchester, limited edition cartridges, .22 WRF Rimfire, 45 grains, lead head, Lubaloy coated. They are in their original boxes, CPU code # 2089210101

I have about 450 rounds left (give or take twenty rounds) and for $100.00 (including shipping costs within Canada), they are yours.

Send me a PM and we will make the necessary arrangements.

Recently I posted this threaded in the EE and received a few interesting e-mails of which I would need some help answering. One question in particular came up twice was pertaining to the inter-exchangeability of ammunition for 22LR pistols. Since I am more so a rifle shooter and not a pistol shooter, I was not sure how to answer.

I was asked if the Winchester WRF .22 can be used in high performance pistols such as the Smith & Wesson Sport Series 22A and 22S or the new Beretta Neos 22.

Again, not being as familiar with pistols I am hesitant to respond to their questions. I mentioned to them to check their owner’s manual or contact the manufacture and ask them the question but I was wondering what the members of CGN think about this issue.

Or maybe I should post his thread in the "pistol and revolvers" section of the Firearms Forum?? What do you guys think.

Regards
Robert

Nope, the 22 WRF is a different cartridge from any of the other currently-available 22 rimfires, and is considered obsolete now. Anyone that has something chambered in 22 WRF, though, is going to want that ammo if they can't get any of the CBC stuff produced in Brazil.
