So I have JR carbine in 45acp in the mail and will be needing some more mags , want to know which brand mags are the most trouble free and which lengths are the best and why ?? Glock types ! Or are there other to consider ? 10 rounders or what ? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Plinking and target shooting mainly so best bang for the buck . Thanks !

My 45ACP JR came with a single stack 10 round Glock brand magazine from the factory. When I put 10 rounds into the magazine, it expands enough that it will not drop free from the magwell but can be removed by hand. That is the only type I have tried in my 45. Maybe I just received a bunk mag. I also have a 9mm which I have used Glock, KCI and Magpul in. The Glock and Magpul work 100%. I had troubles with failure to feed with the KCI.

Found some mags ,I run guns has them . Ordered , now the The waiting game ! Ordered some ammo to go along allso ( got to fill them with something !) Note to others, find a mag loader, you'll be glad you did ! So when I received my carbine ,I scrounged up some ammo mostly odds and ends, steel case rounds and even some subsonics ! Out of 50 or so rounds only one failure to chamber ( last round in the mag , it was a subsonic ) so happy with my purchase .
