Family estate wants me to sell a 98 of which i know nothing. These are some of the markings on the rifle. Stock, bolt and receiver are numbers matching. on the side of the receiver is the word preduzece and the number 44. there is a mounted bayonet on the rifle in the scabbard the blade has never been sharpened. It is not numbered to the rifle. There is still grease in the barrel and the wood is in great condition with a waxy look to it.
I do not want to short the family on selling the rifle ( they really could use as much as possible )
Thank you to any that can offer any information

It's a post war refurb, but Yugo Mausers com in a bunch of different flavours, and determining which one will affect the price. 500 bucks give or take is what I think is an average price.

Agreed that’s is why some pictures would work wonders in this thread.

I"m on a land line and pictures are a real pain to upload. I can send pictures via a text if someone wants to post them.

I looked at the Yugoslavian 98s on trade-ex the one that i'm trying to price looks to be in better shape. Plus this one has a bayonet and scabbard.

Here are the pictures of it.
It's a formerly German k98 in a laminate stock. Mid war production I would guess based on the cuts for the sight protector, cupped buttplate and simple milled from barrel band.... Assuming those are the parts it left factory with. Looks nice!
