Need some help with a Mauser barrel

I'm not a certified Gunsmith but please don't flame me. I'm looking for a threaded short chambered barrel for a Sweedish Mauser. I would like a target contour .308 or 6.5x55 or even 7mm-08. I can't seem to find any Canadian sources for the small ring barrels. I have already restored one small ring to what I think and all my shooting buddies think is a very beautiful rifle, but I left the original military barrel on as it was in great shape and my first redo. Any help would be appreciated.

you might try to get a canadian dealer to import a ER Shaw barrel i gunsmithi knew used a couple of his barrels before all the restrictions came in and was happy with them.

Thanks for you quick reply.I was looking @ ER Shaws website and they are very reasonable on price. I have inlaws in Washington State so I could get it sent to them but I was looking for something up here if possible.

A barrel cannot leave the US unless it is exported by a licenced exporter, and a US export licence has been issued.

TradexCanada While not target contour, they have original m38 barrels. They are new, pre-chambered, stepped contour and in the white. 6.5x55

Check with Pac-Nor they were shipping north last I heard.
