Need some help with a Savage

I am looking for a bolt action riflle and have narrowed it down to the Savage model 11FCNS short action, only one problem should I take the 308 or the 270 win? any thoughts or input?

I would go for the 270 if it were me, very versatile cartridge.

but you didnt say what you are going to be using it for so that leaves it pretty open

If you are going with the short action it will have to be a 308. The 270 is only in the long action unless you mean the 270 WSM.
