Hey guys...hopefully some of the STI gurus will chime in here.

I'm looking for some spec data on spring weights for newer/later production STI Trojan and Sentry (they're the newer ones with the smaller lettering on the slide). I've been on the STI website and found a couple of values in their FAQ section, but it's not really complete...the main spring weights are not listed. I'm looking for recoil spring and main spring weights for Trojan 9mm, and Sentry 45 ACP. If anyone has this info, or can provide a link to a web page with spec info, I'd greatly appreciate it.

What I've found up to now varies...older posts that I've found on various forums/pages have different values than newer ones...but still, some of the more recent info still contradict each other.

Thanks, guys...

The official info I got from STI back in 2011 was that 9mm govt models used 12lbs recoil springs. Try sending them an email; in the past they have been pretty quick replying back to me.

Standard recoil for .45 is 16 lbs, doubt STI uses anything different.

What they have listed for the 9mm on they're site is 10 lbs. for 9mm. And for the 45 with a 5" FLGR, they currently use an 18 lbs recoil spring. But I do think that the main spring weight that they use is much lower than the standard 23 lbs. That's the weight that's not listed...

Thanks for your input, domyalex...I appreciate it.

Email sent as well...hopefully they'll get back to me sooner than later. I will definitely post back here once, and if they reply.
