first thing first i am not a shotgun guy i like my m14 svt sks and such iv got a rem 870 tac express it served me well over the the years and got my freezer full but im starting to get into ducks/geese i tried last year with it and each shot dropped a bird or two but my gd said i have to get a proper hunting gun.
iv narrowed my choice down to two guns the norinco m1000 iv tried to get some info but for some reason it really scarce then i got the Baikal mp 155 lot of info on this but i cant read Russian.

looks have never been important to me if it shoots straight its good so lets leave it has machining marks out of it k

I have a Baikal 153 that works great. That said, can we get any new parts from Russia? I am looking at a spare or backup. I am looking at a Mossberg 930 3". Mil Arm in Edm has a black syn for under 500.

From what I have found on the WWW the MP 153 is still a superior shotgun to the MP155. Pak Guns (do a search) did a full test on the MP155 and it was not regarded to be a very reliable shotgun. Baikal Canada stocks most parts for the MP 153. I have ordered from them with good results. Used MP 153' are around for under 500.00 lot of bang for the buck. (no pun intended) I have no opinion of the Norinco gun but I suspect parts are impossible to find for that gun. I do own and hunt a MP 153 it is a super gun in my opinion.

I have been looking for a 153 but again couldn't find much on it I guess old is gold in this case.
IV held the norinco before and iv never really had any problems with them (my 305 out shoots my friends spingfield) but I really liked that mp155.

Well thank you for yhe info I think I'll shoot them both and see which one suits me.
