Need some opinions on my first 9mm

last sunday I got to shoot a club member's cz shadow, while it's very good and I will still buy it, it has gone down to the bottom of my 10 gun list for now because the trigger is too light and too sensitive to my liking. It's really nothing wrong with the gun, it's just that I would like to shoot more 'real world practical" ones with a duty gun like trigger. this is competition and designed as such. So, IMHO, for newbies, it's better to get something more in the "normal" range, even like my p226 extreme where the SA trigger is light, it's not over sensitive and better for practicing fundamentals. cz is just too easy to be used to build that solid trigger control I think.

I thought shadow sp01 also comes with multiple spring so that the trigger weight can be adjusted to 4-5 pounds range which would be ok for me?

Shadow SP01 is tricked out for competition. Get a CZ75B if you want something with a "duty" type trigger.

You know, last night I shot a buddies Shadow, just to give second opinion to his new reloads. The first mag was kinda of ugly on paper but the second one, with a different load, basically chewed a single hole in the target.

with a great deal of excitement I told him that he MUST share his recipe with me, so that I might try it in my own shadow.

....the second mag was chitty old winchester white box :(
