Need some suggestion for Berreta CX-4 Strom

I'm thinking to get a Amipoint PRO for this firearm(found a deal at 500$ on online retailer), is this a good idea? Or you guys have a better option? Thanks

I thought it was a perfect set up.
I wanted to get a Cx4 for a long time, but once I had it I found it boring. Don't get me wrong, it has to be the best pistol caliber carbine that's NR. It is a quality piece, it was reliable, and I found it suprisengly accurate. I never benched it to see how accurate. But I couldn't miss a pop can at 80-100 yards shooting standing unsupported even if I tried.
Reason I got rid of it is I just didn't see a purpose for it. If I'm going somewhere I can carry I rifle, I'd take something that fires a rifle cartridge. If it was 10" shorter maybe it'd be a good home defence gun. But even then, the trigger seems as if it has a governor built into it. For some reason it won't let you shoot that fast. I've heard that there is a company making an aftermarket trigger that fixes that, but I can't seem to remember.
It is a good rifle, but it just wasent for me.

Is your Crossfire II a scope? Or a red dot ?

It's both: 1-4x24 scope with a duplex reticle and a red dot in the middle. It's the V-brite model. There's a black dot behind the red, too: it stays visible in bright light (as black).
