Need to connect with a smith regarding an IWI Jericho 941 fs

You could just ask your question, and we could take a shot at answering it.

And what do you need it disassembled for? brocken part replacement, polishing internal parts, Cerakote, referbeshment there are many different reasons for taking guns apart and some do require slightly different techniques when disassembly and reassembly.

I had a bad experience with a shop and my Jericho was returned to me with all my parts loose in a sandwich bag. I figured out how to reassemble it but in doing so ended up short two parts. I can find one of the parts online, but not the other. In addition to the trigger bar end cap, I need a trigger roll pin to hold it in the frame.

The parts I have include a squared off and a rounded plunger pin. One of them goes in my right side slide safety lever, but I don’t know which. Here’s the embarrassing part, whatever plunger doesn’t go in the safety will be an extra part. I don’t know if the store accidentally included an extra part or if I missed it somewhere which I’m fairly certain I didn’t.

I know I will be safest in having another smith check it out once it’s done. I will need a recommendation because after my experience I am very goddamn sour on the whole experience.

Yes, down to the frame for a DLC coating. I love my Jericho and want it to last for my daughters to hand it down to their kids.

Did they do any coating. I do Cerakote and it is as important to know what can't be coated as it is to know what can be coated. If they coated the wrong part it could cause additional problems.

Yes, they did the dlc coat. I didn’t encounter any difficulty with roll pins so the coating wasn’t too thick or thin. Only the frame and slide were coated, none of the other components such as hammer, trigger, slide release.

You should be ok the area's you have to be care full around are the chamber, feed ramps and sear and hammer engagement. I did have a quick look at the schematic there are two different types of safety plungers which fit into the corisponding safety lever. Which raises another question? My spare parts fall into two categories parts I know I use regularly so I know how to fit them or those I have ordered for a specific project, which I'm guessing there is another Jericho sitting out there with its parts in a sandwich bag missing an safety plunger.
