need to twist my scope

No worries always happy to help out! There is a real science to precission shooting that's why so many of us spend hours and hours infront of the loading bench.

The inaccuracy of factory ammo comes from the variation in powder charge and bullet seating depth round to round, which causes the bullet to exit the barrel at different points in the oscillation. You will never see the true accuracy of your rifle untill you use match ammo or hand load your own and fine the node of your barrel

"...lose my currently set zero..." 100% guaranteed. Scopes not being properly installed is why bore sighters exist.
yeah its twisted a little. atleast itll give me a reason to get out to the range again :D

i hear that, the more im starting to get into it the more of a headache its causing, lol, im getting a hang of it though. reloading is next on my list. ive tried to get into it a couple times but when people starting talking reloading to me it makes my head spin and i just walk away. ideally id like to find someone whos local and who wouldnt mind showing me how to use the equipment and what not, but that wont be for another year. i may however try out some of the match ammo and see how i like it.

Don't get too carried away, loosen the rings and twist the scope straight by eye. Keep checking the scope as you tighten the rings and re-adjust if needed. Yes, you will need to sight it in again, no big deal.
