I'm looking for any user reports about this gun. I am considering picking up one of these for a portable / discreet big bore gun but figured some of you guys will have experiences that you can share.

Can anyone comment on:

- Accuracy
- Recoil management....straight or pistol grip stock?
- Repeatability and ruggedness of the takedown system.
- Optic or sight recommendations. I may just run it with a peep for simplicity.
- Availability

Thanks for your help.

I haver a BLR in 450 Marlin and its a great gun but I don't have the takedown. I have a BLR in 243 takedown repeatability and accuracy are great.

I believe there are 2 different optics mount possibilities. 1 is mounted to the receiver and one mounted to the barrel, my 243 is mounted to the barrel

I have a take down laminate straight grip in 30-06 also equipped with quick detachable scope mounts, I can remove and replace the scope, break down the rifle and reassemble and it always shoots M.O.A. to same point of impact.

Does anyone have experience with both the pistol grip vs straight stocks?

It appears thgst the drop at comb etc is similar so recoil should.......be comparable with each style.

Has anyone seen one of these rigs collecting dust on your local gun brokers shelves?

Thanks
