Funny. I had a model M and I too went with Warne bases. I bought from this guy: armurier-gunsmith.com. You should be able to find some locally, though - they're fairly popular.
Warne is the only manufacturer I can find who lists them; the hole spacing is very close, and the size/pitch of the threads is not the same as other mounts.
