Need Winchester expert?

[y2k]

I`d like to talk to a Winchester expert. Someone very familiar with Win 69 rifle and the # 97 front sight/assembly in particular.

I've shot 69A rifles for fifty plus years, what do you want to know?
I'm not familiar with the #97 sight assembly, as such, but presume it is the globe type that takes inserts. I've had several of those type front sights, so ask me more.
