Did some horsie trading and ended up with these shooters.
Need to figure out what they are worth for selling at the show coming up.
Nooooooo, not here....at the Kamloops gun show.
These are out of my area of expertise.

First up to back is an old Ranger 25 Calibre. Looks complete c'ept'in for the rear sight elevator.
This one is more better as there are no steps, just a nice ramp...... :D

A 303 Sporter. Not sure if it has the right mag. Dang thing is hard to remove once it clicks in. Bolt, receiver and barrel numbers
match.

A Daisy Heddon air rifle in 22. I was hoping to be able to put a scope on it, but it's not scope adaptable unless there is a
kit for the rear mount area.

Czech Republic VZ 52/57 7.62x39.
It has a bayonet that folds away. Other than the few wood marks, it's in good shape.
I'm interested in what you have to say about this gal and maybe when she was born.

A Mauser sort of thing in a 12 gauge. Holds two rounds, one in and one under. She's a tad ruff 'round the edges.
Barrel is good, no bulges or dents.
The stamp on the rear wood is labeled Geha.

I do believe I saved the bestest for last.
Here is a Winchester Model 61 in 22WMR.
Built near the end of the run.....in around 1962-63 according to what I found off the serial number.
Some light freckling, guess she was watching ma make spaghetti sauce or something.
Rifling is good, action is snug. Internals show little use. Missing the rear sight elevator.
I don't think the scope will add much value to her. Probably pull it off.

4th one appears to be a Czech 52/57. It may not be 7.62x39. This style of rifle had a proprietary cartridge, built on the ComBloc round (7.62x45 maybe?). I know that Numrich had some "sleeves" that could be sweated into the chambers to use surplus x39 ammo.
Best to find out.
 
Looky, The Geha is a German M98 conversion 12 ga. somewhat like a early hardware store special to recycle milsurp M98's. They are safe to use with 3 dram equivalent, 70 mm/2.75" shells provided the bore and action are in good shape.

The Rashid is in 7.62x39 and is a beauty. No worries there as far as safety and shootability.

The Daisy is a VL caseless .22 with deluxe stock from about 1971. Interesting beasty, but sadly now a wallhanger.

The .25 Canuck sure appears to me as a Cooey .25 rimfire made back in the 20's-30's.

The Winnie 61...Pull the scope & replace the elevator and I'll see you in May when I come up to see me sister in Armstrong.;)
 
Your Canuck is a RANGER, Lookey. Canuck fore-end was a tiddy bit different. This is quite an early one, too. Nice little rifles and awfully darned scarce; just wish there was ammo for them. They were hard-hitting and accurate and an absolute ball of fun to shoot. Looks just like a 22, but better than double the power: drift right through a steel 45-gallon drum and keep going. They should go for a couple of hundred now, would not be surprised if one went a little higher. Not made for many years, never many made at all: ammo cost too much.

The GEHA is, as told, a converted 98 Mauser. When War 1 ended, Germany had to turn iover 4 million rifles to the Allies. Then they surplused some that needed work. These ended up as Gehas, Remos and other cheap shotgun conversions. Not worth much but a necessity for the WW1 collector, I would think. Last one I saw sold went for 160, about a month ago.

Your Rashid is not a Rashid; it is a Czech VZ-52/57. The Czech VZ-52 was a 7.62x45 but ALL of the /57 type were 7.62x39; the calibre change was the reason for the name change. Official Czech rifle until they adopted the VZ-58 selective-fire job. Same ammo as the SKS but a far finer-made rifle. Gas system is strange, uses an annular piston and a semi-circular piston rod. Absolute murder to glass-bed, but I have done it. They can be extremely accurate shooters; actually a waste to use one with surplus ammo. They seem to run in the 500 bracket now.

Whoever chopped that poor Lee-Enfield should be hanged, drawn and quartered at the earliest opportunity. It is Australian, an SMLE (Short, Magazine Lee-Enfield) Mark III* built at Lithgow, NSW in 1919. Stock is Queensland Maple. This one would be an excellent restoration candidate and should be restored. I was at a gun show the weekend and saw rifles in half this condition going for 225, although I think that is a bit high. This one could be worth that. Aussie rifles usually had the whole history of the rifle on the right side of the butt, so there could be something there although this one looks clean. Mine is an absolute mess, but it was rode hard and put away wet. This one appears to be clean, so never through factory rebuild: possible it stood in racks for 75 years before it was sold off for junk. Barrel date will be on the left side of the barrel at the rear end, on the chamber, 10-o'clock position, 2 figures, as "'19".

Winchester 61 I cannot comment on: too scarce in this neck of the woods.

The Daisy Heddon is a rarity these days. I have exactly ONE round for this critter: cost me 2 bucks. They used an air-rifle mechanism to heat the air which set off the propellant capsule on the back end of the bullet. Definitely a wallhanger, although one I wish I could afford, just to display one.

I think you are correct about the magazine. My No1 has a magazine that is more "rounded". I will try for a pic tomorrow against a No4 mag.
