Need your help about a gun!

Even if you find ammo for it I think you'll also find that the price is prohibitive. I'd start looking for either ammo or brass. I'm guessing that if you want to shoot 10mm fairly commonly that you'll want to reload for it to cut costs.

I was thinking of getting about 200rds of 10mm. Shoot about 50 rds of it just to see where it hits and then shoot .40 the rest of the time. I have a G22 also so commonality in ammo is a good thing! Do you shoot at CFand G?

Now you're talking my friend! Congratulations!! I'm in the same club right now for 2 more months as I made the rookie mistake of telling my wife "if I got this one I wouldn't buy any more this year!" That is a VERY cool revolver and I hope to try it out at the range soon! And I've got a buddy with two 10 mm semi-autos who reloads for it a LOT!

The 610 is a great gun. You will find a big difference shooting it with .40S&W than shooting your Glock. How much did you end up paying for the 610 if you don't mind sharing that?

Yes it can shoot 40 but you have the same issue as 357/38. It needs to be cleaned well after shooting 40 or the powder residue will make it difficult to seat the 10mm.

Learn something new every day.

Just called the seller after hearing from you guys to just buy it and told him " I'll take it"!! He will start the transfer tomorrow. He will throw in a box of .40 ammo, about 10 full moon clips, all the brass he can find, a Gongale Alves wood and a Hogue rubber grip.
Thanks gdawg for the Wanstalls tip! And the addiction continues!
I thought my collection was complete last year with a .308 rifle and now I get a 10mm! This will never end!

Ha! Love your enthusiasm. It's infectious.
:)

Feel free to post some pics?

Wow guys!
Thanks for the encouragement and help!
I looked up S&W archieves and this 610 is an original first production no dash and 5 inch barrel gun with the fluted cylinder. It was originally bought at Lever Arms.
I will post pics when I get it, hopefully latest next Tuesday but hoping for this Friday!
