Need your help!

Trying to put this back together and sadly the spring popped out before I saw when it sat..this is a ranger 12g single shot. If anyone knows how to put it back together properly that would be amazing..Thanks!

The spring looks like it goes behind the trigger and keeps the blade pushed forwad

Ya the gun still cocks and fires but the trigger is loose when it's not cocked. What do you mean behind the blade?

The long side of the spring (L) looks bent a bit.

The one leg of the spring goes against the back of the trigger, the other leg goes against the reciever and the pin goes through the receiver, trigger and the coil of the spring

The spring ends should show wear marks where they rub the trigger guard............maybe?

I was just into something that's similar. An old Stevens 22-410. Trigger return spring is the gem. Long arm of it goes under the receiver short arm should fit a groove in the back of the trigger.
