Needed... Red Dot Advice...

Hey Guys;

Well, I'm looking to mount a red dot on M14. Specifically on a R33 or Springfield scout mount...

Can you guys tell me what my options are? I have looked at the...

(1) aimpoint M2 and ML2
(2) eotech

BUT, both cost MORE than the friggen M14 I have...

What else is out there that I could use??? Something has to be in the $200 range... geez...

get the aimpoint clone from jackyiscxd. around 100 bucks?

Check the dealer announcement forum for him.
I had one on a 12g shotgun, and it survived a lot of slugs going through!

There are lots of aimpoint and trijicon ripoffs on ebay, ideally sourced from hong kong (where they reverse-engineer and mass produce top-shelf equipment, bless their pointed heads!), available for less than $100. I bought a Trijicon ACOG lookalike (it's a red-dot, not a scope, nothing like a real ACOG except external appearance) for $33 US plus $15 US shipping. The reticle is nice and crisp with no fuzz or blur, as is the image through the lens, and no parallax!! Do a search or two, you'll be surprised what you find
