Needing help with a 28 gauge value

If you are keeping the gun I would reblue the barrels myself using the slow rust blue method, not cold blue. The way it is it doesn't look great and it will be prone to rusting/pitting in those areas where the blue is missing. You won't affect value a great deal as I believe the stock has already been refinished.

lol.........i am just wondering about an accurate value of the shotgun, i can varify it shoots great and locks up tight, no play at all open or closed

I was also wondering about the 28 ga, but you say yes.
Your pictures suck, info on the flats would be usefull.
I have sold a few 12 ga. like this for $100 v-g up to 300 for
exc, so the 200 offer was not far off if it was a 12 ga.
Being a 28 ga is a different story, never had one , but
I would say 300 if it is tight and the barrels are good.
what is the chamber length and chokes listed as?
I would redo the wood, looks like some dark stain on it?

"...its a Leige Columbia..." Leige is a city in Belgium. There were hundreds of small shops making shotguns just like yours in the Leige area. Some with damascus barrels, some with solid barrels. Hard to put a value on 'em. They're usually in far worse condition than yours is too.
You really need to post every marking on it.

mine says
THE LIEGE UNITED ARMS CO. LTD LEIGE BELGIUM.......COLUMBIA ON THE RIB.....UNDER THE BARRELS ON THE RECEIVER SERIAL NO. THEN A W WITH ARROW POINTING DOWN
BOTTOM OF BBLES IT SAYS RIGHT CHOKE 140
LEFT CHOKE 139
THEN A W WITH CROWN AND CIRCLE THING ANF LG STAR IN CIRCLE UNER THAT IT SAYS 28-70
U WITH SMALL STAR ABOVE IT

The following may assist to properly decipher the proofmarks. You may still need to have the shotgun checked out by a competent individual or a competent smith (knowledgeable on double guns) in order to validate overall sound health of the firearm and consequently advise upon reasonable value. Seeking idea(s) regarding price (over the internet) will at best bring forth a SWAG figure.
