I got off work today at 7am drove like a hellish idiot got home jumped in my gear grabbed my crossbow and literally ran almost a kilometer thru the clover to get to the ditch in the fog before the sun came up. 25 yards short of the treeline in the fog I see a deer standing broadside I thru the bow up and see nothing. Not a damn thing. I look over the bow and it is a big doe. She's stupid and walks right at me. I still see nothing in my scope. After a 3 minute battle holding my bow up I gave in and sat down in the clover she hopped back 10 yards or so. After another 10 minutes I can see her watching me ears out tail up as I'm rippen off my camo to get to soft shirt to wipe my lens. I look up and there stands a 11 point maybe 12. He walks up behind the doe. Again I still see nothing inthe scope. After what seemed like eternity they both ran off with the other 5 deer I had not seen only 50 yards away. I make a mad dash to the edge of the clover and tree line and watch the 7 deer play for almost an half an hour at 350 yards away. They dissappear so I wait. Knowing I f*cked up I get up and start to walk back home when I see the 7 deer in the clover 400 yards or so out. Again my scope was so foggy on the lens I could barely make them out. So I dove on my face and leopard crawled thru wet clover for almost the 1/4mile only to find out I'm a 100 yards short and the 5 does walk out and into the corn. So I crawled to where they were and waited. Called the gf on my cell and asked her to glass the field from the house. She screams I see a deer I see a deer its running. I'm laying in the clover. I pop my head up and damn near #### myself a buck almost runs into me. And in the corn it goes. After a minute and some loud words I pick up my drenched bow and stand up swearin at myself. I look up and there's a huge deer. 8point buck walking toward the corn. Finally my scope is clear I wait. 100-90-80-70 and he saw me. I watched him thru my scope but feared to look over to judge an accurate distance. He turned left he turned right he walked back and forth and I couldn't keep the bow steady enough for a shot so with a sinking heart he walked to the corn. I paced it off at 67 yards On a positive side my cabelas dry plus kept me dry 100%. I missed out on a buck of my dreams because a cheap ass scopefogged up. I beg you all for suggestions. WHaT is the BEST anti fog treatment for scopes?
