NEF barrels?

NEF is gone. H&R bought them, who then got bought by Marlin, who were bought by Remington. The NEF single shot rifles are still marketed through H&R. However, they do not deal with firearms made before 1987 and insist that extra barrels made for their rifles be fitted by them in their factory.

If you were to find a used NEF made barrel, it'd have to be fitted for headspace by a smithy. They're not drop in parts.

The accessory barrel program, in which you send in your receiver without its barrel and with some money and it comes back fitted with another barrel, and you can then safely switch the barrels back and forth, only operates in the U.S.
