I'm in the process of purchasing an NEF Huntsman .50 caliber muzzleloader. I've heard good things about this rifle and I'm looking forward to developing a load for it.

A friend, who shoots mainly caplocks has suggested that I use Lee's R.E.A.L. conical bullets (250 or 320 gr.) and is even willing to mold me some himself. I've had good luck with loose Pyrodex powder and will continue using it.

Does anyone have any experience, or advice, using these components on the NEF or any other inline? Should I use the 250 gr. or the 320 gr. bullets?
