Even in the United States fitting a barrel is usually done for a small fee by the NEF/H&R factory itself. It can be a do-it-yourself job if you know what you have to do. In regard to NEF/H&R a great source of information is this place:
From my understanding, the factory does some head spacing checks and other fit and finish verifications.
It is also my understanding that NEF does not sell the barrels separately, you have to send your rifle/shotgun to the factory even to purchase a barrel.
Would it be legal/easy to send my shotgun to an uncle that lives in the US, have him send it to the factory and have him ship it back to me when it is finished?
