Neit Arms - Bolt Release & Ambi Mag Release - update 10 Mar

He mentions on more than one occasion to PM him if you wanna get on the list. My reading comprehension isn't much to shake a stick at, but I think that he wants all interested parties to PM him. I could be wrong though.

We're running a little later than quoted on the Bolt releases. The shop had to order a custom tool in.

We expect to be ready to ship both items the 1st week of March.

The first few releases are off the machines. I requested some small changes to be made. One of those changes requires another custom tool which will be online Monday. I'd rather see another tool ordered than release a product I'm not 100% satisfied with. Once the changes have been made we're expecting 1.5 weeks for the first batch to finish to fill orders, followed by 3 days at the Parkerizers. So we're looking at another 2 weeks before we're ready for delivery.

I have made the required changes by hand on the prototypes off the machines and let me tell you that they're badassed I'm very happy with where we are with this product.

As for the Ambi Mag Releases I'm told that we're on schedule and we should be receiving them shortly.

Setbacks and waiting sucks.. But I want my customers to be up to speed on where their orders are. Thanks for your patience.

Will the ambi mag release system allow you to hit the mags off the gun quicker like the FAL? With the 858 you have to dig around to do this and it's annoying.

There'll be no digging required... The mag release is extended to the left and right, you'll be able to easily access it from either side.

New tooling is in, again, & requested changes have been made and they're rolling out now. This order will be filled in 2 weeks.

Sorry for the delay.. but it was worth it, we have a much better product in the end. We opted to have these cut from pre-heat treated 4140 Bar stock to ensure that they were strong enough to take whatever we can give them. It may be overkill, but you won't have to rely on any secondary fastners. It's a single piece and drop in ready.

In the end it's a better product, and the guys did a excellent job in getting these done to our specs.

I'll have some pics in a couple hours to post once I get back to the shop.

note - these ones haven't been tumbled/deburred yet.

I've had a lot of questions about availability on these. Our first batch has had a good bite taken out of it. Good news is that we have stock set aside for our dealers and hopefully we can hook everyone up. All people that got booked on the waiting list will have product.

We're also just about ready to launch our webstore and will be able to take all forms of payment (EMT, Money orders, Credit Cards, and we're working on a new system to take web-based Interac, but that may come later.)

We should be able to fill all orders and have enough lead time to get on our next batch with little to no wait between. ...Unless you savages drain us too quick. I have made a comitment to our Canadian customers and dealers over the international retailers. We are not stocking our International retailers until the next run comes in so that we can ensure those close to us get their product first.

Stay tuned to the launch of our webstore and we'll update everyone as to when our dealers will be stocked.
